Green Light Australia are currently seeking Switchboard Operator to join our Australian based delivery team to assist in the delivery of services into one of our technical partners. As a Switchboard Operator, you will be responsible for managing incoming calls, transferring calls to appropriate departments, and providing information to both the general public and internal staff. Acting as a central point of contact, you will serve as a concierge for conference calls and play a vital role in updating details on internal staff members. This role requires efficient call handling, professionalism, and a proactive approach to addressing customer inquiries. Call Handling and Transfer Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally. Transfer calls to the relevant departments or individuals as per established protocols. Concierge for Conference Calls Assist in coordinating and managing conference calls for internal staff. Internal Staff Support Update and maintain accurate details of internal staff members. Work closely with departmental teams to ensure accurate and uptodate information. Efficient Call Management Manage multiple calls daily, prioritizing and handling inquiries efficiently. Monitor call queues and address calls within target timeframes. Customer Support Provide excellent customer support by following up on inquiries to confirm satisfactory issue resolution. Maintain a professional and upbeat tone while assisting customers. Switchboard Operation Operate the switchboard system to facilitate smooth call routing. Ensure the proper functioning of telephone equipment.
