Job Description What will you do? The Hub Lead plays a vital leadership role in the daily operations, educational direction, and strategic development of the MACSEYE early years service. This role is responsible for leading a team of Early Childhood Teachers and Educators across multiple sites, fostering strong family and community partnerships, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and embedding Catholic values in daily practices. The Hub Lead ensures high quality service delivery that is childcentred, inclusive, and aligned with MACSEYEs mission. Leadership and Values Responsible for the effective management of staff in the Early Years Centre, this role will support staff induction, foster a culture aligned with Catholic Social Teaching, promote collaborative and reflective practice, facilitate professional development, and ensure alignment with MACSEYEs mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives. Operational Oversight Oversee business performance, compliance, and financial management to ensure efficient, highquality service delivery in collaboration with internal teams and the Area Managers. Quality and compliance Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law, Regulations, and NQF by maintaining policies, procedures, and systems; meet all regulatory standards, including safety and child protection; advocate for community needs; and remain informed of regulatory changes to guide practice adjustments. Family, school and Community Engagement Lead inclusive community engagement, support enrolments and partnerships, represent the hub in key forums, collaborate with specialists and the school, and oversee programs aligned with community needs and MACSEYE priorities. Qualifications Passionate about early childhood education with strong reflective practice. Proven experience in a leadership or management role in a regulated early year setting. Proven experience in working with a community engagement focus. Previous experience in an integrated service model is desirable. Current certification in First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (HLTAID012). Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009). Anaphylaxis and Asthma certifications. Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, VEYLDF, and EYLF v2. Proven experience in managing budgets, compliance, and CCS.
