Oz Tac Engineering is seeking a highly experienced Workshop Manager to lead our production team in Gympie, QLD. As the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality production to meet the needs of our clients. This is a full-time permanent position based in our Gympie facility. What youll be doing Supervise and manage a team of fabricators, welders, machinist and other workshop personnel. Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications. Monitor staff performance and constantly review training needs. Maintain equipment according to the set schedule. Ensure that staff work within company policies and guidelines. Work closely with the production manager to assist in the development of production schedules and shift planning. QA/QC checks, ensuring compliance with documents. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. What were looking for Minimum 5 years experience as a Workshop Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment Trade background in Fabrication, Welding or a related field preferred. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and operational excellence Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team Knowledge of relevant health, safety and quality regulations in the manufacturing industry Why Join Oz Tac Engineering Competitive salary and benefits package depending on experience.
