School Trainee - Xavier Catholic College, Ballina Sport Trainee The Sport Trainee is responsible for supporting the Colleges Leader of Sport in ensuring the delivery of sporting activities for all students. They will assist in the general administration of the Sport Department and offer practical support and assistance as required. Key responsibilities include assisting with College carnivals, coaching sporting teams, and supporting the management of the College''s Integrated Sports program. The successful applicant may be required to oversee early morning training sessions or accompany students on overnight excursions. The Sport Trainee will also undertake a Certificate III in Education Support as part of their traineeship. Applicants must: Have a current NSW Working with Children Check be an active and visible member of the Catholic Church community committ to the Catholic Communitys ethics, values and standards be self-motivated, organised, creative, trustworthy, committed and able to motivate youth have excellent communication skills, and personal initiative be able to recognise and maintain confidentiality ability to use digital platforms for sports event coordination and administration.
