About The Role The Production Assistant and Forklift Driver will be responsible for driving the forklift, general maintenance within the production department, and ensuring orders are ready to be loaded into trucks for dispatch. Main Duties / Responsibilities Load and unload incoming vehicles, containers, and deliveries. Ensure there is sufficient stock of all goods. Conduct quality checks of outgoing orders to ensure standard of quality is upheld. Scan stock in and maintain stock levels for the production department. Maintain an optimal layout of orders within the production floor. Ensure finished jobs are packaged correctly and ready for dispatch. Ensure a safe and clean working environment. Adhere to all OHS obligations and requirements, including contributing to the continuous improvement of OHS in the production department. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Production Department, specifically improvements and developments within your role. All tasks related to, or ancillary to, the duties and responsibilities ordinarily expected for the position, or as may be prescribed to you, or directed by management. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA Skills And Experience Previous experience in a similar role (preferred). Qualifications And Education Forklift licence (required). Skills and Attributes Good communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Strong attention to detail. Excellent time management skills. Physical Requirements Must have no limitations on sight. Able to lift/move 20kg. Ability to stand for long periods of time. WHY JOIN US?
