As a Library Assistant, you will work in a customer facing environment assisting customers with accessing library resources and facilities as you make an impact within the local community. Youll make an impact by: Supporting customers in the use of library facilities, resources and PC applications. Deliver excellent face to face customer service to all library users. Issue and return library materials. Organising library resources Operate library equipment. Respond to borrowers'' enquiries and provide information services. What youll bring To thrive in this role, you will need: Higher School Certificate. Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team Strong computer literacy and understanding of common software packages A current Working with Children Check.
