About The Role Join our Dover-based salmon processing facility as a Maintenance Fitter. Youll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our processing site plant and machinery, contributing to our mission of excellence in aquaculture and seafood. Responsibilities Support production by maintaining processing site, plant and machinery; Ensure optimum efficiency and product quality; Minimise equipment failure in accordance with regulations and company procedures; Work on dedicated projects as part of a dynamic team. Role Requirements Proven mechanical fitter, fitter & turner or fabricator preferably with experience in food or pharmaceutical production environments; Strong technical aptitude and experienced in fault-finding mechanical and pneumatic issues; Familiarity with HACCP food safety requirements (preferred); Willing to work afternoons and weekends; Excellent communication and report-writing skills, a self-motivated team player with strong problem-solving abilities; Demonstrates initiative, drive, and a positive attitude. Skills To Enhance Success CMMS (MEX/Mc global) software experience; Knowledge in RCA, PMs and reliability maintenance practices and approach; Forklift licence.
