Risk and Compliance ManagerSt Josephs College Hunters Hill is a boarding and day secondary boys school, founded in 1881 by the Marist Brothers. Governed by Marist Schools Australia, the College enrolls approximately 1,100 students.Base pay rangeA$104,000.00/yr A$140,000.00/yrThis role supports the College Leadership Team and is responsible for the operational and administrative support of risk management tasks relating to College policies, risk assessment and management, and compliance. The Risk and Compliance Manager reports jointly to the Deputy Headmaster and the Director of People and Culture.The Risk and Compliance Manager will ensure the Colleges risk and compliance framework aligns with current legal and regulatory requirements. The successful applicant will have relevant qualifications and a proven record of effective implementation of risk and compliance.Applicants will be able to further demonstrate:Knowledge of the CompliSpace platform and experience in a comparable environment would be well regarded, but not essential.Ability to work independently, adapt and problem solve.Exceptional processing skills and attention to detail.Planning, prioritising and organising.Strong collaboration and presentation skills.Highly refined communication skills, both written and oral.Knowledge and application of risk management trends in the education sector (ideal but not essential).High competence in the use of technology to enable the use of various compliance platforms.Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to communicate effectively with colleagues.The successful applicant will work in a modern work environment, with a very positive and supportive culture, located close to public transport and free parking.
