Join a growing dynamic team at a regional community legal service Full time, fixed term contract Classified as Level 5 SCHADS Award with salary packaging available Supportive team environment and positive work culture Drive systemic improvements in housing and tenancy services About Us: Gippsland Community Legal Services (GCLS) is an independent nonprofit service managed by Anglicare Victoria. GCLS is funded by the Federal and State Governments to deliver free legal services throughout the Gippsland region. The mission of GCLS is to improve access to justice for all members of the Gippsland Community by providing legal advice and advocacy, empowering individuals, and groups through community education, and to remove systemic injustice by advocating for law reform. The Role We are seeking a passionate and committed Project Coordinator to lead engagement with regional organisations and communities, driving systemic improvements in housing and tenancy services in Gippsland. In this role, you will: Engage with services, communities, and people with lived experience to understand housing justice challenges. Identify opportunities to strengthen coordination and collaboration across the housing, health, and community services sectors. Work closely with colleagues in similar roles across Victorias regional community legal services, supported by a Project Lead and an Impact and Evaluation Lead. Contribute to a statewide housing summit and final project report showcasing recommendations for systemic change. Support broader GCLS activities that increase access to justice for communities in Gippsland. To Be Successful in this Position You Will Need to: Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in community development, project management, social work, public policy or law, with relevant experience. Have extensive experience building relationships and working collaboratively as part of a team as well as with services and community groups to align and progress common priorities. Have significant professional experience in community development or community engagement. Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Demonstrate an ability to contribute to program development, implementation, and evaluation, including through data collection and analysis. Have a commitment to the promotion of social justice and human rights.
