About the role Bathurst Regional Council is looking for a Community Development Officer to join our Community Development team to start early 2026. The new role will support community priorities and objectives in relation to children, young people and families across the Bathurst Local Government area. As a Community Development Officer you will lead community development projects, build partnerships and support community priorities and objectives in relation to children, young people and families. Key Requirements Tertiary or postgraduate qualification in Social Science. Community Development experience, working with community members, community groups and organisations. Demonstrated knowledge of the Children, Young People and Family Sector. Ability to lead successful capacity building projects. Strong organisational and time management skills.
