As the Quality Assurance Officer you will play a key role in maintaining high food safety and quality standards across the site. You will educate and support team members, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with GMP, GHP, and food safety protocols.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesPromote food safety and quality culture through training and team education.Monitor and enforce GMP, GHP, and food safety standards across the site.Investigate and resolve quality issues, including customer complaints.Drive continuous improvement through toolbox talks and team collaboration.Support internal and external audits to maintain compliance.Develop and implement corrective actions for non-conformities.Ensure accurate reporting of quality and safety incidents.Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout youMinimum of AQF Level 5 qualification in an associated field, or at least three years of relevant industry experiencePrevious experience within the meat industry (preferred but not essential)Basic understanding of AUSMEAT, Export Requirements (DAWE), Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and QA language.Knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) concepts and applicationsOngoing training and developmentDiscounted quality meat products, purchased onsiteDiscounts across health insurance and retail providersSalary packagingWorking in a supportive and collaborative environmentPaid parental leaveIf you''re a detail-oriented QA professional looking to make an impact, we''d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
