OverviewFemale NDIS/Aged Care support worker - IMMEDIATE START (Casual) for Nowra & surrounding suburbs. Local provider in the Shoalhaven region, with local management and clients. Home-based role with mobile support and travel between client visits. All Support Workers are paid under the SCHADS Award.ResponsibilitiesAssistance with care in the home (bathing, toileting, mobility)Getting out for social engagement, activities and appointments (own vehicle essential)Assistance with household tasks (may include cleaning, meal preparation, laundry)Assistance with medicationsLight administrative duties (record maintenance, reporting)Qualifications and requirementsExperience with hoists and other manual handling equipment is highly regarded; training is provided with the support worker & clientExperience with supporting clients/participants who live with mental illnesses, or complex behaviours, is highly regardedCurrent Certificate 3 or 4 in aged care or disability is highly regardedCurrent NDIS worker screening check, working with children''s check, criminal history check, CPR and first aid are mandatory documents prior to interviewOwn reliable vehicle and valid NSW driver''s licenseWillingness to cover leave and travel to areas such as St Georges Basin/Vincentia if requiredReady to commence within 2-3 weeks (by early November)Offer and logisticsCasual role; Pay rate $35.00 $45.00 per hourPotential to build the client-base as more clients/participants onboardAll roles paid under the SCHADS AwardAbout UsWe are an ethical and fast-growing provider of NDIS and Aged Care services across the scenic South Coast, with local management and local clients.
