Access to fitness passport, flex leave entitlements and other salary packaging benefits.Commitment to DiversityWe encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from diverse cultural backgrounds, people living with disability and people living in regional areas to apply.About The DepartmentThe Department of Education is the largest provider of public education in Australia with responsibility for delivering high-quality public education to two-thirds of the NSW student population.About The RoleThis role sits in the Local Operations (LO) Branch, which acts as a link between the departments Early Childhood Outcomes division (ECO) and early childhood education and care (ECEC) services. The Local Operations Branch aims to improve outcomes for children by providing localised advice and support to the wider department and delivers crisis management and support to the ECEC sector. Local Operations also works closely with Schools Infrastructure NSW, the Regulated Authority for ECEC and school operations to broker solutions in communities with barriers to accessing early childhood services. The Branch provides regional and metropolitan departmental presence and is responsible for shaping and delivering local approaches to ECEC.ResponsibilitiesLeading a team to achieve policy and project milestones and outcomesSupporting operational maturity across ECO with a focus on localised deliveryDeveloping resources that support progress towards mature program delivery and local operations, informed by lessons learnt and current program needs whilst considering future state requirementsGuiding and partnering with program teams to design, deliver and review local program deliverySupporting teams to understand localised contexts and take an evidence-based approach when working with local communitiesInformation SessionsWe will hold online information sessions for applicants.
