OverviewJoin to apply for the Jumbo Operator role at GOLD FIELDS.Role Details: Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out development work and other mining tasks as directed by the Supervisor. About the roleAchieving production targets by operating equipment to undertake drilling activities in a safe and efficient manner.Assisting with other areas of the operation such as Service crew, Long Hole Drill and Bogger operation offering hands on support, guidance, and mentoring when required.Providing reliable and accurate operational and practical knowledge to minimise down time and potential loss of production.Using mobile equipment and tools with due consideration for safety and environmental issues.Working collaboratively with mining engineers, geologists, and the survey team as necessary to ensure drilling is undertaken to plan.Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in operated equipment such as the drill cabin, throughout workshops and wherever works are carried out.Complete all administrative processing requirements associated with maintenance duties.
