Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging options available for all staff (up to $15,900/pa).ResponsibilitiesBuild strong connections with people with disability to provide quality support and achieve positive outcomesSupport and encourage supported employees to participate in workSupport clients with their personal care where this is part of the clients person-centred planUse the manual handling techniques specified in a clients comprehensive person-centred planSupport supported employees to make deliveries around SydneySupport each supported employee and interact with their family members and other stakeholders respecting their dignity, cultural background and religious beliefsBe part of developing, implementing, keeping records and reviewing each clients comprehensive person-centred plan and behaviour support planWork cooperatively as part of a team and treat all colleagues with respectRespond to all incidents and injuries in accordance with Unissons policies and procedures and the NDIS Quality Safeguards StandardsQualifications & Ideal CandidateAvailable to work 9:00am to 3:00pm on weekdaysRequired to hold an NSW Drivers License (P2/Full)Willingness to drive a Unisson vehicleHigh levels of enthusiasm, initiative, and a positive attitudeEmotional intelligence, resilience, and capacity to perform the work requiredPrior experience working with people with disabilities or in a similar role (desirable)Certificate III and/or IV in Disability and prior experience (desirable)About The PositionWe are looking for several motivated, innovative and resilient people to provide support for a group of supported employees attending employment services based in Thornleigh. The supported employees require assistance to complete customers orders such as packing and delivering goods.
