You take safety as seriously as we do and are passionate about delivering impactful safety outcomes so that everyone goes home safely every day.ResponsibilitiesCasual position providing relief at school sites in the Cessnock Local Government Area.Manage school crossing operations with shifts typically between 8:009:30 AM and 2:304:00 PM, Monday to Friday during the school term, with a minimum one-hour shift as required.Operate as a trusted community safety representative, engaging with students, parents, teachers and local motorists to promote safe behaviours around school zones.Work with safety equipment and follow training to ensure safe crossing procedures and adherence to relevant regulations.Receive an hourly rate with superannuation.About YouYou are a community-minded person who would like to contribute.You enjoy building community relationships, keeping kids safe, and earning a weekly wage for doing something you love.You are reliable and prepared to show up for your community in all weather conditions.You communicate effectively and stay alert to potential dangers.Applicants must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
