We are searching for team members experienced in a high level of cleaning, preferably with hospital or similar experience, to work across a rotating 7-day roster including mornings, evenings and nights. Successful applicants may also be able to pick up or be trained for further work in the Food Services Department.ResponsibilitiesProvide high standard of cleaning servicesOperate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & proceduresDeliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patientsAct in accordance with all manual handling protocolsAssist the wider hospital teams to ensure patient satisfaction is always achievedDemonstrate professional practice by working according to Healthscopes policies and processes, code of conduct and by participating in yearly performance appraisals and mandatory educationMaintain skills and standards of customer service and ensure patient confidentiality and privacy are maintained at all timesSupport Healthscopes safety and quality improvement in all aspects of safety including Work Health & SafetyWhat You''ll Need To SucceedDemonstrated experience as cleaner or infectious cleaning specialist in a hospital, aged care or medical settingEnthusiasm, drive and passion to prepare and maintain an appropriate work area to the highest standard of excellenceTime management skillsGood communication and customer service skillsAttention to detailFlexibility to work Monday to Sunday on a rotating roster including afternoon, evening and occasional night shiftsCompany & RolesNewcastle Private Hospital is a 189 bed, acute, private hospital facility co-located on the John Hunter Campus at Rankin Park.
