Grounds & Maintenance Officer - Taigum Rental Community Join to apply for the Grounds & Maintenance Officer - Taigum Rental Community role at Ingenia Communities Group Ingenia Taigum Rentals offers comfortable, affordable, and community-focused living for residents of all ages in a welcoming and well-maintained environment. Reporting to the Site Manager, this is a casual role with additional hours able to be picked up during peak seasons. Responsibilities Maintain beautiful outdoor spaces through mowing, pruning, planting, and pest control, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and guests. Carry out general repairs and upkeep across the site, including accommodation, pool areas, and equipment, with a focus on quality and efficiency. Coordinate contractor work and manage grounds maintenance budgets to deliver high standards within financial guidelines. Conduct regular WHS checks, follow safety protocols, and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities and incidents. Collaborate with team members, respond to resident queries, and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace culture. Youre Likely a Match If You Hold a current C Class manual drivers licence. Have hands-on experience in building and grounds maintenance, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond calmly in emergencies. Are proactive, positive, and committed to delivering high levels of service with clear communication and a team-first attitude. Are comfortable with manual tasks like lifting, bending, and operating tools and equipment across varied terrain and conditions. Have an understanding of the importance of PPE and safe handling of chemicals, tools, and machinery to maintain a secure work environment.
