What Youll DoReporting to the Superintendent CHPP, youll play a key role in driving the smooth, efficient and sustainable operation of our two Coal Handling and Preparation Plants (CHPP). Youll be instrumental in hitting production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, cost control and environmental performance all on a lifestyle roster that supports work-life balance.Lead and inspire CHPP operations teams to deliver safe, high-quality production in line with corporate targets.Build capability and depth by managing training, competencies, authorisations and skill allocation across shifts.Own the day-to-day operations of the plant, including process performance and stockpile management.Champion compliance with Coal Mining Safety and Health legislation through accurate shift logs, permits and safe systems of work.Identify smarter, safer and more efficient ways of working.Create a high-performing culture through leadership, coaching, attendance and performance management, teamwork and positive change. What Youll BringTo succeed and thrive in this role, you will have:Experience in coal or mineral processing, or general production/maintenance in a plant environmentProven supervisory or leadership experienceHands-on experience operating SCADA and control systemsA relevant trade qualification is highly desirable.Additionally youre known for thinking outside the box, have highly effective communication skills and more than anything, you want to be part of a great team, do great work and excel to your potential.
