As a Customer Service Attendant, youll gain hands-on experience and collaborate with a passionate group dedicated to delivering excellent customer service while prioritising safety. You will be the go-to person for helping passengers who need a little extra help during their journey, or simply a friendly smile to brighten their day. You will gain valuable experience through tasks such as flagging trains, using high-tech mobile apps, connecting with train crew and keeping the station in tip-top shape.For more information on these positions, you can view the role description and intercity customer service information pack.About you Responsibilities Be the frontline face for customers, delivering courteous, safe and efficient service. Assist passengers who need extra help and maintain a welcoming station environment. Coordinate with train crew and use relevant mobile applications to support operations. Contribute to keeping the station area clean and orderly. Additional responsibilities Participate in a rostered shift environment, including shift work, late nights, early mornings, weekends and public holidays. Extended hours may be required at short notice. Own transport is beneficial for shifts starting outside standard hours. About you Positive and reliable attitude with experience in customer-facing roles. Loves frontline work and interacting with customers and the community. Self-driven, able to work autonomously with initiative. Strong work ethic and dedication to exceptional customer service. Availability to work rotating shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends and public holidays. Permanent part-time: minimum 40 hours per fortnight. Permanent full-time: 76 hours per fortnight. The full-time pay rate for this position is $1,342.80 per week PRO RATA, including the Industry Allowance. As a part-time employee, you are paid on a pro-rata basis calculated on your agreed hours. You will also receive Superannuation and Annual Leave Loading benefits.
