MNCLHD is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director, Office of the Chief Executive to provide high-level leadership, coordination, and support of the Chief Executive, driving alignment, governance, and strategic delivery across the District. Based in Port Macquarie, enjoy the beautiful surrounds of the mid north coast while establishing your career in Health. About the Role As a trusted advisor to the Chief Executive, you will: Lead executive, governance, and corporate support functions Provide strategic and political advice on complex, high-profile matters Coordinate strategic planning, communications, and performance reporting Manage stakeholder engagement with Ministers, Ministry Officials, Aboriginal leaders, unions, and community representatives Oversee major events, VIP visits, and special projects that enhance the District''s reputation and impact What We''re Looking For Tertiary qualifications and extensive senior executive experience Proven leadership in politically sensitive environments Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally safe practices Current Driver''s License and willingness to travel Why MNCLHD? Question 3 As Director, you will operate within a complex system requiring sound judgement, discretion, and a deep understanding of organisational governance.
