Development LeadPart time: 22.5 hours per weekLocation: BURNIE Overview City Mission is looking for a well-organised, people-focused Development Lead to help grow our fundraising efforts across the North-West coast region, and to improve our engagement with the community. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, coordinating events, a passion to help others, and working with purpose in a small team environment. Youll be responsible for engaging with local donors, businesses, and community groups to support City Missions programs, and enhance our knowledge of regional needs. The role includes planning donor events, managing communications, and maintaining accurate records in our CRM system. Youll work closely with the Fundraising Team Leader to support major gift fundraising and donor stewardship. This is a hands-on role with real impact in the local community. Selection Criteria Essential Qualifications/Experience: Exceptional interpersonal skills. Excellent understanding and knowledge of typical donor communications. Computer literacy. (including MS Office including Excel, Eventbrite) Experience working with external stakeholders such as graphic designers, printers, event venues etc. A positive, collaborative, team-oriented can-do attitude. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Proactive and customer service focused approach to work. Motivated and willing to work independently, and as part of a team. Commitment to City Missions Mission and Values. National Police Check is required for all roles at LCM. Registration to Work with Vulnerable People is required for all roles at LCM. Desirable Qualifications/Experience: Experience or demonstrated capacity to work in an organisation adopting a Christian ethos. Experience/knowledge of Fundraising and Marketing / CRM databases.
