Senior Consultant - Civil/Rail/Infrastructure Contract Recruitment Join one of Australias most exciting infrastructure projects the Canberra Light Rail expansion. Were seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer with a strong background in utilities coordination, telecommunications, drainage, and electrical/underground service works to play a key role in delivering this landmark transport project. About the Role As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and delivering complex service relocation and installation works, ensuring integration across multiple disciplines in a live urban environment. Working closely with the Project Manager and broader delivery team, youll provide technical expertise, lead subcontractor performance, and maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities Oversee delivery of utilities, drainage, telecommunications, and electrical infrastructure associated with the light rail corridor. Manage design coordination, approvals, and interface with authorities and service providers. Lead subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reporting. Identify and manage risks related to underground service clashes and construction sequencing. Ensure quality documentation, ITPs, and as-built records are maintained and submitted on time. About You Degree in Civil, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline. Proven experience delivering major civil infrastructure or rail projects involving utilities and services. Strong technical understanding of telecommunications, electrical, drainage, and underground service construction . Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
