About This Opportunity We are looking for a volunteer in the KENTISH area (or able to travel to KENTISH & SURROUNDING regularly) to support a participant who enjoys cats, markets, shop outings, and coffee/meals. The role requires a female volunteer caring for a female participant with restricted mobility. Key Responsibilities Meet with your assigned "MATE" weekly or fortnightly. Engage in activities to build a meaningful relationship. Provide companionship and emotional support. Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions. Maintain confidentiality and privacy at all times. Submit regular reports to your coordinator. Qualifications Must be over 18 years old. Commit at least 1 hour per week for a minimum of 12 months. Possess or be eligible to obtain a Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) card and a police check. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
