You will deliver smoking prevention and cessation campaigns, community events, and educational materials while upholding the organisations vision and fostering culturally safe working relationships. Responsibilities Assist the Team Leader and other PH staff to deliver smoking prevention and cessation campaigns, information sessions, and community events that align with guidelines and policies. Help build respectful relationships with Barkly Region communities. Ensure program materials are up-to-date, appropriate, and engaging for the target audience. Undertake administrative duties in line with program and organisational expectations. Document and organise electronic client data records and registers. Represent the TIS Programme when collaborating with key stakeholders. Travel to remote communities to deliver the TIS Programme. Participate in staff training and development. Essential Skills and Experience Willingness to undertake relevant training. Experience working with Aboriginal Community health or welfare services. Ability to support the delivery of culturally responsive programs and services. Understanding and respect for traditional cultures, values, and protocols. Skill in developing and maintaining effective networks and relationships with Aboriginal community groups. Good timemanagement and ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and ability to work with the TIS Team and across the organisation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel). Ability to create promotional and educational materials such as posters. Desirable Experience and knowledge of the Tennant Creek and Barkly Region. 4WD training. Additional Requirements National Police Clearance. OCHRE Card (NT Working with Children) required prior to commencement. Refer to NT Safe for further information.
