Responsibilities Assisting patients with their mobility and communication needs Assisting patients with their personal care needs such as showering, dressing and eating Participating in planning the care of individuals Following therapy plans, such as interventions to assist those with dementia and behavioural problems Observing and reporting changes in patients'' condition, and reporting complaints about care Qualifications and Requirements MUST have at least ONE YEAR FULL-TIME relevant experience (or pro-rata Part-Time or Casual work) Preferable a relevant AQF Certificate lll Willingness to travel distance and be willing to work various hours. A roadworthy and registered vehicle and hold a current C class drivers licence Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to demonstrate empathy with elderly residents The ability, and commitment, to uphold high standards of work What''s on Offer This is a PERMANENT FULLTIME position, salary offered is $73,000 $78,000 plus superannuation.
