Opportunity The Technical Claims Assistant is responsible for supporting Loss Adjusters in the management of claims, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. The role also requires utilising appropriate systems to maintain a high level of data integrity and working with the central billing team to ensure appropriate financial procedures are followed. Duties & Responsibilities Provide technical claims handling support including, but not limited to: Undertake non-complex fee earning case work, where appropriate Liaise with Loss Adjusters to proactively support the management of claims from initial setup to conclusion Acknowledge and notify associated parties of new claims Liaise with the insured, insurers, brokers and any other stakeholders, to ensure optimum service levels and to become a point of contact, where needed Format and issue technical reports in compliance with professional standards and internal guidelines and according to agreed timescales Deal with internal and external queries in a professional manner and accurately record conversations/messages Ensure compliance with McLarens'' financial procedures Ensure data is accurately entered in relevant systems to achieve high standards of data integrity and information management Run, check, analyse and distribute reports as required, including compliance reports from internal claims systems Assist with the preparation of client and business presentations Participate and contribute to projects as required Prepare reports and correspondence for key stakeholders involved in the claim Document and schedule marketing activity Compile, update and maintain client documentation and spreadsheets Undertake general office administrative duties in accordance with company standards, such as diary management, expense management, booking appointments, file creation and management, minute taking and other duties as required Review, interpret and create technical reports for submission to client, ensuring accurate presentation of information and data collection Monitor progress of assignments and proactively assist with management of assignments to ensure compliance with SLAs Liaise with key stakeholders to assist in management of assignments and respond to matters raised Arrange and provide onthejob training and supplementary training when required for employees of McLarens Assist in the marketing and development of McLarens business globally as appropriate Duties and responsibilities may be varied to allow McLarens to respond to operational requirements. Qualifications None specified Skills & Experience Previous experience in the insurance industry, particularly in the management of claims, is desirable Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook Proven ability to learn new technology and software requirements Previous experience in the insurance industry would be desirable Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Apply now #J-18808-Ljbffr
