We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.We are gearing up for a new site mobilisation mid-September & are looking for reliable & experienced chefs to join us.14 days on / 7 days off rosterFlights provided from SydneyFull Time salary $90,510Supportive, professional team environmentThe PositionBulk cooking experience & Cert 111 Commercial Cookery requiredPrepare buffet style bulk cooking for Breakfast and Crib lunch, or Dinner and DessertsYou will work within a team of Chefs, kitchen utilities & dining room employees to deliver exceptional quality and service to the village residentsAdhere to safe work practices and safe food handling proceduresEnsure all catering controls are in place & wastage is kept to the minimumOffer guidance and support to the kitchen team where needed, to ensure a great experience for all customersEnhance workplace culture display high levels of customer service, contribute ideas and be flexible to meet the needs of the businessThe PersonStrong team player with the ability to multitask in a high-paced environmentTrade certified chef holding a minimum Cert 111 Commercial CookeryExperience within bulk catering/ cooking environmentsExcellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures & operationsMust hold a White Card or willing to obtainMust have a National Police Clearance or willing to obtainMust provide valid Passport or Birth Certificate + Photo IDAble to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screeningThe Benefits:You will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
