Salary: AUD31.19 - AUD33.19 per hourThe RoleWere looking for experienced Forklift Operators and Produce Handlers to join a busy carrot processing operation in Forth, Tasmania. This is a fast-paced, hands-on workplace where teamwork, safety, and efficiency are key. With multiple roles available, youll play an important part in ensuring produce is handled, packed, and delivered to the highest standard.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, youll contribute to efficient daily operations across a variety of tasks, depending on your assigned position:Big Forklift Operator Carry out daily checks, safely load and unload skips, operate intake line machinery, record movements, monitor waste, and assist with cleaning and maintenance.Packing Team Lead Supervise crews while overseeing carrot washing, grading, and packing for retail sale; assist with cleaning, labouring duties, and other operational tasks.Small Forklift Operator Safely move bins, pallets, and cartons, maintain cool room storage, supply packing stations, assist with loading/unloading, and operate the manual bagging machine.Tank Controller Manage tanks while supporting washing, grading, and packing operations, along with cleaning and general labouring.Produce Handler (Grader) Grade carrots into the correct classes, maintain hygiene standards, and assist with cleaning and packing area support.Produce Handler (Packing Hand) Assemble and pack cartons, crates, and bags, check quality and weights, operate basic machinery, and assist with maintenance reporting and cleaning.Benefits$31.19 $33.19 per hour plus penalty ratesApprox. 56 months of consistent workApprox. 40 50 hours per week, offering reliable incomeBe part of a collaborative team in a well-run facilityGain experience in both forklift and produce handling operationsYour Skills & ExperienceTo succeed in this role, youll bring:Hardworking, physically fit, and reliable approach with a strong work ethicPositive team attitude and willingness to collaborate effectivelyAbility to adapt to fast-paced environments and follow workplace safety standardsExperience in forklift or machine operation (licence required for forklift roles)Own reliable transport for flexible commuting #J-18808-Ljbffr
