Quarry Operator | Central Coast Sands Heidelberg Materials Australia is looking for a fulltime Quarry Operator to join the team at Central Coast Sands Quarry, Somersby, NSW. About the Role This is a fulltime dayshift position with a 5week rotating roster. Most shifts start at 5:45am, and weekend (halfday Saturday) shifts may be required depending on business needs. The role involves operating frontend loaders, dump trucks, excavators and other fixed plant equipment, as well as performing routine maintenance and general site duties. Responsibilities Operate plant equipment such as excavators, dump trucks, frontend loaders and other fixed plant machinery. Conduct daily maintenance checks, including oil levels and greasing. Keep machine cabins and equipment clean and well organised at all times. Assist with other site duties as required, such as fixed plant maintenance. Qualifications Strong commitment to health, safety, environmental and quality standards. Current valid Open or Provisional Australian Driver''s Licence (essential). Ability to work collaboratively within a team and also autonomously with minimal supervision. Strict adherence to fixed and mobile plant prestart and maintenance procedures. Excellent communication skills, including following clear instructions. Professional work ethic with a cando attitude. Medical clearance to pass a preemployment medical, drug and alcohol testing. Adherence to operator weight limits and seatbelt requirements for safety. What We Offer Base rate of $36.13 $40.34 per hour, plus overtime, allowances and super.
