This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational, communication, and management skills, capable of guiding a team and maintaining high operational standards.BenefitsA supportive and inclusive team environment.Opportunities for longterm employment and career progression.A competitive salary package.Ongoing professional development.Flexible work hours to promote worklife balance.Task & ResponsibilitiesThe role includes:Plan and organize the overall operation of the restaurant, including staffing, ordering, and ensuring smooth service delivery.Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including chefs, kitchen staff, and waitstaff.Ensure that food and beverages meet quality standards and customer expectations.Manage the recruitment, training, and performance of staff, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, payroll, and managing costs (e.g., food, labour, utilities).Control and manage the restaurant''s inventory, ensuring food, beverages, and supplies are stocked at appropriate levels.Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and resolve customer complaints or issues.Develop, implement, and update the restaurants menu in collaboration with chefs.Ensure the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations, including food hygiene and safety standards.Manage the restaurants marketing efforts, including promoting special events and seasonal offers to attract and retain customers.Oversee financial and operational reporting, analysing profitability and implementing corrective actions when needed.Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors, managing orders and inventory levels efficiently.Ensure the restaurant complies with all required licenses, permits, and other regulatory standards.Handle administrative tasks related to the operation of the restaurant, including maintaining records and managing correspondence.Organise and oversee events, functions, and group bookings, ensuring they meet customer expectations and are executed smoothly.Qualifications & ExperienceDiploma and Higher in the relevant field.Minimum 2 years of experience in the related field.Strong understanding of Australian brunch cuisine and modern culinary techniques.Ability to lead and work within a team under pressure during peak hours.Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills.Availability to work across a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.Salary & Full TimeSalary: $77,800.00 per yearFull Time: 38 hours per weekAbout CompanyAPARAJITA FOODS PTY LTD T/A Lenny St. provides a vibrant, innovative, and welcoming environment where culinary excellence meets customer satisfaction.
