Position OverviewOur Coordinator - Asset Operations (Roads) plays a pivotal role within the Community Assets Directorate. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and coordinate the Council''s asset base, including roads, stormwater, fleet services, and parks and reserves. Your leadership will ensure that we deliver exceptional services while prioritising public safety and environmental sustainability.In this role, you will face the exciting challenge of effectively allocating resources across a broad array of operational functions. You will implement best practices in project management, ensuring that our community assets meet industry standards and are delivered on time and within budget.ResponsibilitiesLead, manage and develop a diverse team dedicated to enhancing community assets and infrastructure.Ensure compliance with safety and risk management standards.Oversee project management practices to deliver high-quality results within budget.Engage with the community to foster trust and collaboration.Who We''re Looking ForIts important to us that you are the right fit to join our team, but just as important, that West Tamar Council is the right place for you.
