Location: 201 Borella Road, Albury NSW 2640 (Albury Public Hospital)Work type: Full Time (Max Term) 38 hours per weekSchedule: Available for 24/7 shift rotation roaster including weekends and public holidaysAbout the roleWe are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate, vibrant and engaged team, working across Albury Base and Wodonga Base Hospital laboratories and will be responsible for:Performing all routine histological procedures from point of specimen reception to execution of results for Pathological diagnosis, including specimen dissectionParticipate in attending FNA ProceduresRecording of results in line with protocolsMaintaining current scientific knowledgeParticipation in both routine and audit related Quality Assurance activitiesContributing to continuous improvement and the development of new assays as requiredParticipating in training staffLiaising with internal and/ or external stakeholders (referring practitioners) regarding test results or referrals as necessaryCompliance and adherence with Policies and Procedures, Workplace Health and Safety Procedures and Quality Assurance Processes.About youWe believe everyone leads, no matter what role they are in.
