About the Role Reporting directly to the Business Manager, the Risk and Compliance Manager provides highlevel leadership, advice and management across risk management, legislative compliance and occupational health and safety. This critical role ensures the College maintains a safe, compliant and childsafe workplace in line with current legislation and the Colleges mission. Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Colleges risk, compliance and OHS frameworks. Manage the Complispace compliance and policy management system. Oversee compliance with VRQA, MACS, CECV and other governance requirements. Coordinate the Emergency Management Plan, training and drills. Maintain the College Risk Register and ensure ongoing monitoring and reporting. Provide strategic advice to the College Executive on legislative changes and their operational impact. Promote a strong culture of child safety, compliance and wellbeing across all staff. About You Proven experience in risk, compliance or OHS management, ideally within education or a similar sector. Strong understanding of legislative frameworks, risk assessment and governance standards. Excellent judgement, analytical and problemsolving skills. Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality. Demonstrated commitment to child safety and Catholic education values. Qualifications and Requirements Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in risk, compliance or OHS. Level 2 First Aid (or willingness to obtain). Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check. Mandatory Reporting and Child Safety training (or willingness to complete).
