Location: Yulara, NT Employment Type: Full-Time, Rotating Roster Reports To: Central Australia Operations Manager About The Role Youll be the frontline force behind our tour delivery, ensuring our fleet and guiding teams are operating efficiently, professionally and in line with AAT Kings high standards. As a key training lead, youll coach new and existing Driver Guides and Guides, ensuring their skills from vehicle safety to worldclass storytelling are honed and consistent with our brand promise. What Youll Do People & Training Lead onboarding and induction of Driver Guides and Guides Deliver structured, culturally respectful training in guiding, safety, and service Provide onthejob coaching and support to help our teams shine Foster a positive team culture through mentorship and motivation Ensure completion of systems training (e.g., Litmos, Concur, CDU accreditation) Be a role model in professionalism, guest experience, and AAT Kings values Operations & Scheduling Coordinate daily fleet and driver schedules to optimise operations Respond to live operational needsvehicle issues, tour changes, etc. Conduct ridealongs and provide constructive performance feedback Support tour delivery when required, maintaining operational excellence Work with internal teams and external partners for seamless experiences Compliance & Admin Ensure training records, certifications, and incident logs are up to date Support investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives Prepare training and operations reports to assist with workforce planning Uphold WHS and transport regulations, and educate others to do the same What Were Looking For Essential Experience in tourism, logistics, or transport operations Strong people leadership and training capabilities HR Drivers Licence, or ability to obtain one Sound understanding of safety, compliance, and fatigue management Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Willingness to work a rotating roster, including weekends and early mornings Desirable Certificate IV in Training & Assessment Experience with fleet or scheduling systems Knowledge of UluruKata Tjuta and Watarrka National Parks Passion for storytelling, guest engagement, and cultural respect Whats in It for You Housing 5 weeks annual leave 12 weeks paid parental leave (for eligible employees) Staff travel discounts for you, your family and friends 2 paid volunteering days per year Access to a wide range of retail and wellbeing discounts Team engagement days and career development opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
