Were looking for a Plant Supervisor to join our team at Heidelberg Materials in Hexham. We will teach you everything you need to know about concrete production and plant operations. Location: Hexham Salary: 31,000pa Hours: 45 pw + time and a half up to 55 pw What Youll Be Doing: Oversee the daytoday running of the concrete plant Use computer systems to batch and dispatch concrete Speak with customers and coordinate deliveries Supervise contractors and hauliers on site Carry out routine maintenance and inspections Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental standards Keep the site clean, safe, and well presented Operate the batching plant to company standards and improve site presentation Accurately batch concrete/mortar in accordance with relevant procedures Ensure the plant is adequately stocked with approved materials at all times Visually check stocks on a minimum weekly basis and verify monthly What Youll Learn: Concrete batching and quality control Environmental and safety compliance Stock and material management Site supervision and customer service What Were Looking For: A positive, proactive attitude Willingness to learn and grow Strong communication and organisational skills No prior experience in concrete?
