The school is located approximately 17 kilometres from the Perth CBD in the City of Wanneroo and has an enrolment of 265 students. The Role As Manager of Corporate Services, you will ideally possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills which will assist when working with the leadership team, staff, parents and the wider community. You will use sound financial management skills and strategic administration, including responsibility for ensuring all audit requirements are followed. The successful applicant should provide consistency for financial planning and budgeting within the school and ideally possess an excellent knowledge of Department Policies and Guidelines. You should be an experienced administrator, with clear knowledge of how the Manager of Corporate Services role impacts and is guided by the school improvement model. This includes working within the leadership team in a strategic space around the workforce planning and the targeted use of resources. It would be advantageous to have knowledge of how the Intensive English Centre (IEC) operates so the school officers can be supported. Koondoola PS has five buses that bring IEC children to the school each morning and this requires additional oversight to ensure these services are running smoothly. The school has a mixture of mainstream, special needs and ethnic education assistants. These need to be managed in response to the changing needs of the students.
