Are you a dynamic and forward-thinking Growth Planner who can deliver strategic and statutory planning services with a focus on development contributions. In this role, you will take charge of designing, implementing, and refining infrastructure programmes, ensuring responsible growth aligned with the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Act and industry best practice. Reporting to the Growth Planning Manager within the Strategic Planning & Environment Team, you will collaborate with Councillors, the community, and internal teams to plan for Shellharbours future needs. Responsibilities Design, implement, and refine infrastructure programmes ensuring responsible growth aligned with the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Act. Collaborate with Councillors, the community, and internal teams to plan for Shellharbours future needs. Manage consultants and multidisciplinary teams, delivering complex planning initiatives. Communicate effectively, contribute to innovation, and facilitate stakeholder engagement. Qualifications A degree in Town Planning or equivalent with indepth knowledge of the NSW Environmental Planning & Assessment Act. Proven experience in preparing and providing advice on Development Contribution plans. Strong ability to manage consultants and multidisciplinary teams & project management skills to deliver complex planning initiatives. High level interpersonal, facilitation and negotiation skills as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. Benefits This is a permanent fulltime position (35 hours a week) with flexible work hours to help you balance your schedule. Commencing salary range from $95,975 - $101,849 per annum. A vehicle allowance or leaseback vehicle with full private use. 12% superannuation.
