Responsible for supporting the Cultural Development and the Artsteam, you will assist with planning, delivery and evaluation ofprograms, projects and events in line with the Cultural Developmentand Arts Strategy. Working closely with the Citys Media andCommunications team, you will also develop and review promotionalcontent including website, social media and newsletters. You have sound knowledge and experience in marketing andpromotional concepts including managing website content anddeveloping e-newsletters and surveys. You are proficient inthe use of social media platforms including Facebook and Instagramand have well-developed written and verbal communicationskills. You are an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who canprioritise work in a fast-paced environment and has well-developedadministration skills. You have strong interpersonal and publicrelations skills, along with experience in event support, includingevent planning, delivery, set up and pack down. Please note: This position requires someweekend and evening work throughout the year. It involvesmanual handling of equipment and materials, and engagement withservice providers and participants during and after communityevents. Candidates must be able to lift and move items of upto 20kg in weight, and be able to stand for long periods oftime.
