About the role Rydges Resort Hunter Valley Group Accommodation Sales Executive fulltime, week Tuesday to Saturday. You will be the powerhouse behind group and offsite wedding accommodation owning the entire journey from first inquiry to final itinerary. Key Responsibilities Be the clients dedicated contact, organising all areas of their booking. Look for upselling resort activities and destination assistance; curate itineraries, ensure you are the sole point of contact onsite. Liaise with departments to maximise revenues and ensure seamless guest experience. Liaise with Meetings & Events Sales Manager daily. Communicate and handle guest feedback, compliments, difficulties and complaints. Prepare proposals, contracts, group resume/movement, invoices and paperwork. Input and manage group rooming lists, inventory and rate management. Ensure accurate group resume/movement before distribution to hotel departments. Receive and post advance deposits; ensure payment in full as per policy. Maintain iVvy CRM system integrity, logging all sales activities and client info. Coordinate and distribute interdepartmental paperwork; maintain impeccable recordkeeping. Provide hotel standards support and represent hotel at events. Work outside regular hours, weekends and public holidays as required (Tuesday Saturday roster). Actively pursue group accommodation bookings, convert business and report monthly sales activities and conversions against targets. Upsell Food & Beverage outlets, ownerled initiatives, and drive awareness. Implement prevention measures and contingency plans to keep sales results from falling below plan. Maintain contact with new business enquiries and market intelligence as required. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 2 years experience in a similar sales and reservations role with proven track record. Formal sales and reservations training; strong presentation, commercial and communication skills. Comprehension of hotel systems, sales, planning and execution principles. Flexible work approach and proactive in developing strong client relationships. Ability to deliver projects on time; strong planning & organization. Excellent communication, collaboration, resilience, and customercentric focus. Knowledge of rooms, rates and packages; ability to build relationships with external properties.
