Solutions Architect Profectus Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia The Indigo Program is a large-scale transformation program to modernise business capabilities and replace core election ICT systems with a citizencentric, agile technology platform. The Program will transform the Australian Electoral Commissions delivery of electoral services and ensure ongoing integrity of the electoral system. Tranche2 comprises a variety of work packages with a focus on business process reengineering, data management, legislative compliance and replacing aging systems. Base pay range A$140.00/hr A$145.00/hr Key duties and responsibilities Work collaboratively with the service design team and Indigo Program technical teams to design the solution approach for Tranche2 work packages (aligned with the future state design) Contribute to the development, assurance, and/or maintenance of the agencys solution architecture artefacts, including application strategies, architectures, technology roadmaps, policies, and practices. This role involves providing solutions by contributing to Design Authority Forums, Solution Design Workshops and Architecture Governance Forums covering technologies and platforms such as DevOps, Azure, M365, VMware and many others. Based on review findings, document identified issues, risks, and opportunities, together with associated actionable recommendations. Perform additional responsibilities as required and directed by the relevant Director/Team Leader. Demonstrated experience working as a Solution (Application) Architect on a largescale transformation project or programme. Proven experience designing applications and solutions for traditional onpremises, cloud, and hybrid cloud environments. Proven experience designing and documenting applications that meet business requirements and align with the AECs strategic vision and operational constraints. Demonstrated technical proficiency and experience using: Microsoft365 Azure Functions and Logic Apps Sailpoint Knowledge of and experience using various Microsoft and industry frameworks, including: Blazor, React and other Single Page Application Frameworks OpenAI and HATEOAS Asynchronous integration frameworks Composable applications frameworks Welldeveloped communication skills, including the ability to distil technical information in Plain English to communicate with influence. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, including the ability to translate clearly between technical teams and business areas. Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, including the ability to effectively manage risk and deliver fitforpurpose applications and solutions. Tertiary qualifications or industry recognised certification in Information Management, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline. Demonstrated experience delivering largescale ICT transformation projects/programmes, preferably in a Commonwealth Government setting. Demonstrated knowledge of Commonwealth Government frameworks, including the ICT frameworks. Demonstrated understanding of Agile ways of work (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework [SAFe] or similar).
