This is a hands-on role in the poultry industry, where youll be working in a busy farm environment that values animal welfare, cleanliness, and safety. Youll manage shed operations, care for the birds, and work independently across multiple sheds.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, youll play an important part in maintaining animal welfare and ensuring smooth daily shed operations, including:Checking bird health and wellbeing, including humane disposal of any sick birdsCollecting eggs and operating the egg packing machineCleaning and maintaining equipment, machinery, and shedsDriving a manual ute between shedsCarrying out other tasks as directed by the 3supervisorBenefits$30.35 per hour with good working hoursMinimum 6 months, ongoing for the right personTraining and support provided to develop poultry husbandry skillsOpportunity to build experience with a respected agribusinessYour Skills & ExperienceYoure reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working on your own.
