As a Reporter, youll be part of a dynamic newsroom committed to telling stories that matter to local communities and resonate nationally. This role offers the chance to create compelling content across radio, digital, and television platforms, while working in a supportive environment that values diversity, creativity, and editorial excellence. The Job Create engaging news content for multiple platforms, including radio bulletins, interviews, Q&As, and digital packages. Respond to breaking news and contribute to emergency coverage planning. Collaborate with colleagues to develop digital-first content ideas that connect with audiences. Actively engage with local communities to uncover stories that reflect the diversity of Australia. Share regional content across ABC teams and platforms to reach broader audiences. Youll have: Journalism experience. Strong editorial judgement and the ability to source, analyse and present stories across platforms. Proven experience in live broadcasting and a creative approach to content creation. A deep understanding of regional issues and a commitment to inclusive storytelling. A current drivers licence and willingness to travel to remote locations.
