Job Description

The OpportunitySEE Group have a great career opportunity available for an Assistant Accountant to join our highly professional and skilled finance team. This is a diverse and fastpaced fulltime role based predominantly in Yatala, QLD. Youll work closely with the fleet maintenance team, supporting the business unit with responsibilities below. Responsibilities Support the processing and recording of acquisitions for equipment, tooling, and light vehicles (LVs) in accordance with capital expenditure procedures. Assist with the disposal process for equipment, tooling, and LVs, ensuring accurate financial treatment and timely removal from asset registers. Maintain accurate and uptodate asset registration records, including asset tagging and tracking for all capital assets. Assist with accounts payable (AP) processes and accounts receivable (AR) functions related to equipment, tooling, and LVs, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, invoice generation and reconciliation. Monitor and reconcile accounts for capital workinprogress (WIP), components, core charges, and spare parts to ensure accuracy and compliance. Essential Skills and Attributes Tertiary qualification Accounting, Finance, Business or similar. Proficient with Accounting ERP systems and MS Office suite. Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements and taxation laws. Proven experience in monthend and yearend closing processes. Highly effective planning, organising and problemsolving skills together with the ability to motivate and influence others.
