The Opportunity North West Alliance is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to oversee waste collection and transport activities. In this pivotal role you will ensure safe and efficient operations, drive financial performance, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. Leading a team of high performers to maintain high standards and achievement of goals; maintaining positive relationships with operational teams, fleet, procurement, sales, administration and compliance. Ensuring excellent working relationships with customers and other key external stakeholders. Strategy and planning contributing to business development and maintaining awareness of internal and external considerations, market trends, business intelligence and innovation opportunities. Finance management and reporting including regular financial and operational reports, assistance with budgets, governance adherence, and financial modelling of strategic plans and costsaving initiatives. What you''ll need to be successful Relevant waste and mining experience. Significant experience in leadership and development of teams. Strong commercial acumen managing P&L and budgetary requirements. Demonstrated success in managing safety and environmental matters. Current Cclass drivers licence.
