Murwillumbah - Timber Mill Plant Operator (Permanent or Casual) We are seeking Plant Operators to join our team in the Murwillumbah timber mill. Apply now to register your interest and join our team. About the Position We are currently seeking people with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic to join our team. If you enjoy problem solving and working across different equipment and machinery we are interested in talking to you. We are looking for candidates who are immediately available to pick up day shifts Monday to Thursday from 5am. The following position is available: Casual - $35.01 + Super (Covering busy periods and leave. Shifts start at 5am). Key responsibilities The use of various console machinery to saw and stack timber General labouring and timber mill duties Assisting with the daily running of general operations at our Murwillumbah plant Sorting and strapping timber Inventory management Keeping work area clean and focusing on health and safety To be successful in this role you will have Previous experience within a similar role in machine operating is desirable A positive attitude whilst being reliable and punctual A strong commitment to safety Knowledge of the timber industry is highly advantageous Be physically fit and able to manually handle various size timber sections Previous experience with manual handling work The ability to work effectively within a team environment About Us Join our team and be part of a diversified group with over 30 years of experience leading the way in the forestry, agricultural, and permaculture industries.
