Seasonal Waitperson Paradise Country Employment type: Casual $32.35 per hour (age rates apply if under 18 years) Contract: Fixed Term until February 2026 with opportunities for ongoing work The Opportunity Successful candidates will be required to work in our Farmhouse Restaurant and/or the Burrow Caf, serving a range of food & beverage items to our guests across breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts. Applicants must have full availability to work a rotating roster, covering weekdays, weekends, holidays and nights as required. All successful applicants MUST hold a valid Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Statement of Attainment issued by a Nationally Recognised Training Organisation prior to commencement. The role is initially seasonal until February 2026, with opportunities for contract extensions or ongoing positions for standout employees. Key Responsibilities Work effectively within a team environment or independently as required. Provide outstanding customer service to a variety of guests. Prepare and serve a range of food and beverage items while maintaining a high level of food safety, quality and presentation. Follow workplace hygiene procedures and health and safety standards to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Operate point of sale system with accurate cash handling and stock control. What We''re Looking For A valid Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate. Full availability to work shifts from 6am to 9pm on any day, including school holidays and public holidays. A fun and positive working attitude. The ability to work in a fastpaced environment. Exceptional guest service focus and communication skills. Excellent grooming standards and a commitment to follow food & beverage personal presentation requirements (no jewellery, fake nails or nail polish). Previous restaurant experience highly regarded.
