OverviewEstablished in 2025 following the merger of Accolade Wines and Pernod Ricard Winemakers, Vinarchy is a global wine company committed to redefining wine.About the Role:We now have an opportunity for a Cellar Team Leader - Berri Estates to take charge of all cellar activities at our Berri Estates wineryfrom grape and juice receival through to the delivery of finished wine to packaging. Reporting to the Cellar Manager, youll ensure operations run smoothly, safely, and in line with company specifications and standard operating procedures. This role is key to driving performance and continuous improvement across cellar operations. Youll help foster a proactive safety and quality culture, challenge the status quo, and lead innovation to enhance efficiency, product quality, and team engagement. This is a full time, permanent position, based on-site at Berri Estates (Riverland).Key Responsibilities:Lead daily cellar operations from grape receival to finished wine supply, ensuring alignment with production priorities and standards.Maintain winemaking standards across all procedures, including hygiene, gas cover, and transfer protocols.Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S/GMP inspections and waste reduction strategies.Assist with budgeting, capital expenditure planning, and key winery projects.Manage and mentor the cellar team, ensuring effective rostering, training, and performance development.Collaborate on recruitment and onboarding of permanent and vintage casual staff.Promote a strong safety, quality, and compliance culture, ensuring adherence to QSE policies and legislative requirements.Facilitate clear communication across teams through regular meetings, updates, and stakeholder engagement.Oversee cellar administration tasks including inspections, stocktakes, equipment maintenance, and payroll support.Champion a collaborative, respectful, and proactive workplace culture aligned with company values.Other Requirements:24-hour contact for emergency purposes in support of the Cellar Manager Berri EstatesIncumbent will be expected to work flexible hours including outside normal working hours on occasionsWhat Were Looking For:Front line management or supervisory experience in large scale commercial multi-shift winery production operationPractical hands-on experience in winery operations and processesExperience with lean management systemsIntermediate use of Microsoft Office programs, incl.
