Job Overview Role: Centre CookCentre: Goodstart PalmerstonEmployment Type: Part time, 27.5 hours per weekContract: Fixed term until January 2026Roster: Monday to Friday no weekend workPay: $28.68 to $32.43 depending on qualification and experience Highlights Delight little customers with big appetites provide delicious meals and influence the nutritional outcomes of Australian children Competitive pay at least 5% above award Get 50% discount off your childcare gap fees In this role, you will: Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic Work a part time roster of 27.5 hours per week About GoodstartPalmerston We have 82 places in our centre. We are located about 20 minutes'' drive from the Darwin CBD. We have convenient access to all the amenities of the Palmerston area and are close to the large Defence bases and new housing estates.
