For more information about the Department of Education, please visit NSW Department of Education About The Role The Programs Officer is responsible for coordinating and supporting project development by conducting analysis, offering strategic advice, and contributing to the planning and implementation of diverse initiatives. The role requires coordinating policy outcomes that support the Departments objectives. The responsibilities include: Conducting research and analysis to inform policy and program decisions Providing project management support, including briefs, submissions, and data analysis Coordinating stakeholder engagement, meetings, and consultations Compiling data for reporting, monitoring, and evaluation to support program outcomes For further information please click here to view the role description. About You Demonstrate strong communication skills to work effectively with a range of stakeholders Experience working in a high-volume environment Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Departments Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Departments Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people. Essential Requirements Of The Role Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and/or experience. A valid Working with Children Check for paid employment. Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
